  1. 2008+ Front Brakes Upgrade: Pro Comp Brake Lines EXP 7460 - Do they work?

    Titan Wheels, Tires & Brakes
Yes I did read that a few times. Someone in that link or another brake replacement posts said they used the ProComp SS lines instead of the Goodridge. That is what I was asking about. If you don't have anything to offer on the ProComp lines, then why did you even bother to reply?
  2. 2008+ Front Brakes Upgrade: Pro Comp Brake Lines EXP 7460 - Do they work?

    Titan Wheels, Tires & Brakes
Hey - I tried to install my new brake parts for upsizing my front brakes to the 2008+ size tonight, with my mechanic friend. We were shut down though because of brake lines. I bought the Pro Comp SS Brake Line kit, EXP 7460, and they do not look like they will fit my 2005 Titan. When I...
  3. Front Suspension Clunk Noise

    Titan Suspension
When pulling the trailer and hitting bumps, it is the same knock/clunk, loose/broken sound/sensation coming from the front, all over again. I can feel it in the floorboard as well. The symptoms that I am experiencing are basically the same as I experienced before I removed the front sway bar...
  4. Front Suspension Clunk Noise

    Titan Suspension
Rugman and others following this thread: I got my clunk noise and clunk in the floorboard to go away by removing the front sway bar. I took my truck to an off-road shop and they noticed that the sway bar appeared to be hitting a tie rod on one side due to marks on the bar and the tie rod...

LSturbo, Sorry about the late reply...sidetracked by the holiday. Yes, as far as I know these are the original cam bolts holding the LCAs on. I tried tightening one, and it turned, but I didn't check the other 3 yet to see if they turn or are seized. What are SPC cam bolts? So I took my...
  6. Front Suspension Clunk Noise

    Titan Suspension
Thanks guys for some ideas here. I kinda figured that was the coil bucket, but wasn't completely sure. I checked both sides and there are no marks on the CBs or UCAs. LSturbo...did you install the Moog LCAs? I think I saw that at the bottom of your reply in your signature. Do those come...
  7. Front Suspension Clunk Noise

    Titan Suspension
Thanks for the input guys. Nick Name, the volume/size of the clunk noise is significant, metal clunking on metal, and indicates unwanted vertical slop/play in a connection in the suspension. Had my mechanic friend do the prybar under the tire test and we didn't find much movement - a tiny...
  8. Front Suspension Clunk Noise

    Titan Suspension
I have read a couple of threads on here where guys are complaining about a clunk or poping sound coming from the front end when hitting small bumps on the road. I would say that I have the exact same problem with my 2005 Titan King cab 4wd. My truck has the front end leveled with the custom...
  9. Mickey Thompson Deegan 38 A/T

    Titan Wheels, Tires & Brakes
Hi, I am shopping for A/T tires for my 2005 Titan 4x4 KC. I am choosing the 275/70/18 size. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with these new A/Ts from Mickey Thompson? I am and always have been a huge fan of BFG tires, KO2 specifically. But these Mickey tires look pretty good and...
  10. WTB: 18" Pro-4x alloy wheels

    Want To Buy
Hi, I just bought an 2005 Titan King cab this weekend! This truck came with these aftermarket wheels: XD Series Monster 2, Satin Black Falcon A/T tires 305/70/r18, probably w/30-40% tread left http://www.kmcwheels.com/wheel/19854/xd822-monster-ii The wheels are in excellent condition and...
  11. Looking at used Titans - earliest year to buy?

    Titan General Discussion
Thanks for all of the replies. 2008 was going to be my guess from my little bit of research. Is the rear axle seals leaking issue addressed by 2008? I did not know about the "Big Tow" gearing until I came to this site. Now when I see Titans for sale on the internet, I wonder if the truck I...
  12. Looking at used Titans - earliest year to buy?

    Titan General Discussion
Hey everyone, I am thinking about selling my 2000 Tundra and buying a 1rst Gen Titan to replace my Tundra for my landscaping work. I have a small Bobcat skid steer that I need to tow (with an equipment trailer), all together around 9k lbs. I will only need to occasionally tow this machine and...
