I got my 05' Titan a few months ago and the axels have popped out. I'm under the impression that the diff. Is a common issue in the older gen. I want to swap and get a newer diff for one that is actually worth my time, but not sure where to get one or even start looking. I have a 6" lift on my truck as well. I already have a rough draft plan for extending the axels.the dealership employees here are not very educated so I don't want to go there. I'm completely open to ideas. Thanks !

You can't just extend the axles. A lot of older Titans have this issue without being lifted. I'm pretty sure you need a newer front diff unit.....maybe '07 or newer?
I think it's something to do with the circlips being too weak, but I don't remember.

I would check the dealership parts department for the diff. If they aren't much help, you can get it installed elsewhere.

I replaced my front diff a few years ago, I found the price to replace with a new one was about the same price as a rebuild. I could have put a used in but for an extra couple hundred dollars, I went new.
