I'm looking to buy this titan, took it for a ride and when you floor it it feels like it hits a rev limiter and doesnt want to shift up. Just kinda bounces right around 4000rpm and will back fire. But if you just drive normal it drives and shift as it should any suggestions on what it could be? I really like the truck, just a little curious what that could be?

4000 or 2000?
Could be shot A/F/O2 sensors, shot cats, messed up EVAP purge valve, broken/cracked exhausts, crap/shot plugs, bad MAF, dirty air intake....
Put a code reader on it see what pops up, see if it has all its readiness tests all green

Yeah - I'd call that a major red flag. I'd get a code reader on it, and specifically check how long it's been since the codes were last cleared on the ECU. If it won't rev past 4k, my guess is, there's about a 98% chance it's going to require thousands of dollars in repairs. Either buy it at a price which reflects putting in a new motor or computer or whatever is wrong, or don't buy it.
