Anyone know if the climate controls from a 07 will work in a 04?
The 07 has variable fan speeds where the 04 only has 4 speeds.

It would be nice if this was just a simple "Plug and Play"? When you find out, please PM me as well.

All of the replies i have received on other boards say No Go.

Yes I've done it twice now. I'll get around to a write up someday. The plugs are physically the same, the pin locations are not. Don't try just plugging one in.

Good News, May go get the controls and the harness ends and fiddle with it to get it to work.

Does the variable fan speed work?

Everything works, you don't need anything but the controller itself. You just move the wires on the existing plugs. BTW, my 05 was not variable, it had like 8 locations were you can feel the detents, the 2010 is the same way, or maybe a few more detents.

My 04 only has 4 settings, Off, 1,2,3,4.
