when i first take off it doesnt want to shift to second gear unless i let off the pedal. only does it bad 1st to 2nd gear then a little from 2nd to 3rd. i just changed the trans filter a few hundred miles ago bc it didnt want to move at all. trans fluid was replaced and still looks new. was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and could tell me whats wrong with it.

Make sure the fluid level is good, then unhook the battery overnight.
You should also make sure you have a good heavy ground wire going from the trans to the body. While you're at it, clean the grounds under and around the battery.
You may also find the filter screen to be plugged, but it's unlikely, especially if the problem just started all of the sudden.
Unfortunately it doesn't sound like a good situation :frown:
