One night I was driving my truck around and it started to slip really bad to the point where the truck wouldn't move in any gear or reverse. So I parked the truck and 2 weeks later I got in it to see if it would move and it drove fine for 2 days then it started to do it again. Suggestions anyone?

1. Check the transmission fluid level. The Titan transmission can be rather sensitive to being only a quart or two low.
2. While checking the level verify the color of the fluid. If it is any darker than a light strawberry color then you have may have a costly problem.

Transmission fluid is burnt, pulled the pan off and has some metal shavings in it so I took off the filter and it has a lot of little shavings in it

Damn, I hope you don't have to replace the tranny. I just did an engine swap. Theyre not fun.

Sounds like lack of maintenance by the previous owner. How many miles?

140k miles, transmission is only 30k

You can try replacing the fluid and cleaning the filter. But it doesn't look good for the home team.

Yeah I can drive it for about a mile or so and it starts to act up, both times is started to mess up again it was raining and my truck is fairly low to the ground
