Why are people experiencing more problems with an 08 than 07?

What facts do you have to back that up?
Why do other brands like Ford, Toyota, Dodge and Chevy have problems with there newer models?

What do you mean more?

Kind of a weird question but stuff happens no matter what you own.
I had an 04 and now an 08. Only had 2 minor problems on the 04 and zero on the 08. I havent heard of any problems on the 08 yet, except one guys window switch malfunctioned.

Where did you get the info that there were a lot of problems on the 08's? Did your friend with a Tundra tell you that?? :)
Actually, nothing major. Miner problems. However, I don't hear 07 owners complaining as much as an 08 owners.

It won't let me post URLs. What does this mean?

I haven't even heard of minor problems with 08's. I've had mine for almost three months and aside from a missing mudflap screw, i haven't heard of anything else. What are these minor problems you speak of? Please list them for us 08 owners.

It means that until you have 15 posts, you can't post links to other sites in your posts. Pretty much just what it said....

I haven't heard of any issues with the 08's either. And the 07's seem to have no issues like the earlier year trucks had. What have you heard?
not heard of any real probs at all w/ the 08's. btw, what year TITAN do you own?

Zero problems with my '08. Had it for 3 weeks now.
The only problem I have with my 2008 is that it does not get 25 miles to the gallon.:crying:

Lol, yeah my 14mpg is a far cry from the 30 my last car got. But this truck if great so who cares.
Grill mounts are different... cant replace grills with 04-07 .. I THINK. LMK if i am wrong. I ordered a grill on ebay and dont think the mounts are same.
I've owned my 08' for a month now, and it's spent more timein the shop than with me. The salesman scratched it deep enough for a little body work...the POS "Silencer" re-activated itself and shut the truck down...the rack and pinion has been replaced (although now I'm not sure it was neccassary)...and the battery died and had to be replaced.
It's been a frustrating if not comical month...dont get me wrong though...this is my second Titan and my fifth Nissan...I'm not throwing in the towel by any means. Nissan's been good to me.

It was the CLIPS... needed OEM clips... FITS!!!!!!
Rhino, why was the steering rack replaced? I'm having major problems with my steering wheel shaking. I have been getting the front tires balanced over and over and can't get rid of the shimmy. Maybe the rack is the cause?
Remedy - I had my truck lifted two weeks after I bought it. A day after the lift I started having a stange noise that was isolated to the rack (by the guys at the local 4x4 shop). The service manager at my Nissan dealership happens to be a particularly cool dude, so he agreed to replace the rack to see if it made a difference. Funny thing is, the noise went away for about a week...now it's back, and the guys at the 4x4 shop are pointing at the rack again.
You and I have very different issues, but I know your frustration.

Does your shake occur during braking, turning, etc.?
The shake occurs at 60 mph on up but it also coincides with the horrible shake I have been getting from the rear. I have replaced all of the tires with Michelins and have had them "roadforce" balanced and also had them checked on a Coates XR 1800 machine for a possilble bad rim. All tires have less than 2 oz. of weight to balance them out.

My opinion is the driveshaft or carrier bearing is bad. Of course the local dealer says all is fine. Nissan consumer affairs has not yet gotten back to me.

If you're in the Houston area, I may be able to help...
