lOOKS NICE . wHO DID THE INSTALL? What is the pice in the center of the enclosure for and where are the subs firing. One of the cleanest installs i have seen in a Titan. Very clean vinyl work

I would love to have a whloe month to do an install again. LOL
The piece in the center is a magnetic door that hides my 6 disc changer. Guerry Byers of Audio Outlaws in Buda,Tx did the install. The subs are firing into the bottom of the seat(about 1 1\2 to 2 inches from the bottom of the seat) I actually had an upfiring box built (against the shops recommendation) because of your advise Tech! It is loud and clear.

Did we discuss this install on the phone? It sounds really familiar . Looks great by the way.
Nice job! You can tell they spent some time on it because its very CLEAN!!!

Did they do anything to move the back seat? It looks like the amps stick out a bit? This must be an 04 CC with no power rear window right?

ohhh BTW, nice kicks.... I wish I had a set! :)
Yes, we did. I found you on Ebay.(christy?) I really needed (wanted) kick panels. I had four JL 8" woofers in my last truck. Two front firing, two downfiring. The 10's in this Titan sound much louder! Just something about firing speakers an inch or so from the floorboard made me wonder how they would sound firing up. I went against the shops recomendation on the box because of what you told me. This is my 6th install. I could not be happier. Thanks again! I hope others read this, and buy their upfiring box from you.
They went through two amp racks making this one. This is an 07 XE Crew Cab with a power rear window. They had a really hard time getting the amps to fit. My seats do latch, with no damage to the amp rack. I did bend the seat bars in a little just for good measure.

WOW it doesnt surprise me that it took 2 of them to get it to work because there isnt much room back there. It looks awesome any chance you could post up some dimensions :) !
Beautiful! Great install and choice of equipment.
This is one system that I really can not pick apart. I feel like I built it for myself. They did one hell of job with that amp rack. AND THATS A FACT
I dont mind giving dimensions. Leave an email address or let me know exactly what you need. I learned so much over the years from previous installs, and know how much it meant to me to have help from others. By the way, the panel above the amplifiers was carpet originally, and was rebuilt from scratch. They had to mount the amplifiers really low to keep the seat from hitting. The back of the amp rack is welded steel. The amps are bolted to it with stainless steel bolts to keep from rusting. The cover of the rack lifts off without screws or bolts. It is easy to work on. The power wire is routed under the truck (away from the rcas). Duraglass was used under the vinyl to give it a very slick appearance. The cupholder was removed below the stereo to hold my ipod.
Yah I'd love to see some pics of the frame that they built etc.
Sweet, install. Nuff said. There are not too many ppl that put a system in a truck, kc or cc, that can do it like that. Flawless. Keep up the good work!
[email protected] i would like some more info on the amp rack i need to build one myself
That looks sweet.

I would like more info on the amp rack I need to built one as well [email protected]
I know this is a old thread, But SWEEEEEEET Install.
Yes it is. He actually contacted me about doing it . I had 2 trucks here at the Time from Florida and just could not break off them. He did well . He planned it for months also. The labor would shock you on that truck. Its top notch work
