I have only had the opportunity to run the 1/8 mile since getting headers.

So I decided to run my 1/8 mile times and see what I would have probably had. Here they are!!

Randy...I just checked your 1/8 mile ET and Trap Speed at Wallace Racing. It has your 1/4 dead on!!!! 14.59!!!

9.33 @74.6 = 14.59!!!

So since it seems so accurate...I decided to put all mine in to see my possible 1/4 mile times from my only runs with the headers. Here they are:

60' 2.140 9.356 @ 75.103 = 14.62
60' 2.096 9.267 @ 75.506 = 14.48
60' 2.203 9.408 @ 75.168 = 14.70
60' ?? 9.380 @ 75.213 = 14.66
60' 2.108 9.304 @ 75.309 = 14.54

60' seems to be the key!!! Get good traction...the truck will do the rest.

Not too shabby for a truck with an open differential...no tunning......and stock internals.

Drag radials should net me consistent 14.4's I hope. Maybe even 14.3's if I can pull lower 60' times. And I still have not tried my short belt!!!

I fully plan on it. But since the 1/4 mile sensors were broke....I have nothing to fall back on at this time but calculators....which are pretty accurate.

RbsTitan's times were right on. I went through my old 1/4 mile track times and ran the 1/8 conversion. My 1/4 mile times were averaged at .06 seconds faster then the 1/8 to 1/4 mile conversion.

Your 60' times are varying as much as a tenth, and as you said, the 60 has a lot to do with it - how are you launching? Does the Titan hook? Stock tires? Do you roll through the water and do a short burnout, or go around?

The Titan is very hard to hook up...remember..we all have an open differential.

I go around teh water...and I do a small burn out to help clean my tires of any water i picked up or debris.

I am on Stock tires. Stock.....you could be consistent with your 60's at 2.2/2.3 easy. But once you get some good down low power going that open differential is easy to bust one tire loose.

When I was less modded I could pull very consistent times and kick some *** in bracket racing. But now that my truck really wants to run it's a little harder to be consistent.

But no fear.....drag radials are on the way!!!! This will take all the guess work out of the game.

I typically launch at about 1200 rpms with the burn out mod switched on so it don't retard timing. Any higher and I'll sit there and roast the right tire and not even move.

Dependingon the track....sometimes I can almost go WOT after third yellow and hook ok. And sometimes.....2.2's here I come. Before headers I was pretty consistent at 2.15's 60'.

Now I have headers.....even though I don't really notice...it appears either the truck isn't running consistent....or my traction isn't consistent.

Hmmmm...sounds like time for a TruTrack. :D

FWIW, I use my Titan to tow my car to the track, and it 60's around 1.44-1.45.
