100K Maintenance?

5871 Views 9 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  cabinms
Well my 4x4 SE T is fixing to hit 100K in the next few weeks. With that said I want to start my collection of parts/fluids for its maintenance. I would like to know what is recommended at this mileage?

Depends on what has been done recently. I would start with changing the plugs, transmission fluid, transfer case fluid, differential (s) fluids, coolant fluid, power steering, brake fluid, engine oil, rotors/brake pads (emergency too), belts, hoses, shocks, stuts, and cabin air filter. Put your rig on a lift and check for any play in the wheel hubs. Inspect your steering rack, bushings, and exhaust system. While your under the rig, lube the chassis and inspect for any obvious fluid leaks.

That would be a good "start".....
Smooth pickle that's quite the list but is must needed. Isn't there a list in the owners manual?

If one is expecting to get 175-200k out if their vehicle then, IMHO, all of which I suggested is "needed". Preventative maintenance is key to the longevity of anything that is mechanical and has moving parts. My thoughts were merely a suggestion...

Where can a Titan owner get a Maintenance Guide? I bought my 07 kc a year ago and I have the Owners manual but not the MG.
Cabin, go to the following website below, scroll down and click on the applicable year, then bingo, bango, bongo...all the service/repair guides you will ever need for free.
