Rolled 150k not long ago on my '04.

Overall ownership experience: Should have waited for the 05 to get the new rear window but aside from that I'm satisfied with the purchase. This truck has done me well for 12 years as a daily driver and has been my race car trailer tow truck for many many runs back and forth from AZ to CO. Wind, rain, a bit of snow etc.

To date I've replaced the rear axle seals, serviced fluids, replaced the starter, plugs one time, new front brake pads at 134k, replaced all the funky light bulbs and the factory cats long ago. Really not a lot of maintenance.

Last time out towed a 20" trailer and pushing it a bit harder than I like it still did its job without a wince even.

Today the paint is fading, the interior is dirty, the plastic dash cracks are for sheet, the rear door latches stick, and we need some new tires.

Not perfect..but it starts, stops and gets me what I need. Still rolls an average 14mpg city and more on the highway (less trailer) and is a reliable piece of both my personal and work needs.

Looked at the new diesel model....nope. Can't justify the price. For the towing nowadays we rent a F250 SD for $500 for the week and pull the bigger trailer per race. More cost effective really and will ensure another 100k on the T.

Not the nicest truck one could have purchased in 04 but it's been everything I needed and done all I've asked of it.

Nice, i just passed 170k in mine. The rear door latches do stick, i sprayed some lube in there and it helps some.

In my KC I pull the door latches off (two phillips screws) and put some grease in there every now and then. There's one small part where the lever is against the catch that will stick if the grease is old/has a lot of dirt in it.

Other than that I'm at 125k, and it drives better than it did when I bought it. Yeah, it's scratched and beat all to hell, but it's 8 years old.

I'm right there with ya. About to break 140k on my 2nd 2004 Titan. Been a good truck, and fairly cheap to own and operate. And I still like driving it!
