any suggestions of where to get 16.5" rims (6x5.5" bolt pattern) for a titan (if possible at all)? I've noticed that tires are comparatively pretty cheap ($147/tire for 33" bfg ko's) for commercial sized rims.

Most companies that I know of have stopped making 16.5 wheels. The ones that I'm able to find are steelies.

17" Is the smallest you can run for proper brake clearance.
