Hello everyone, I have an 05 Titan with a 6" Rough Country lift, Helo Maxx 6 wheels with 35x12.5x18 Nitto Terra Grapplers. My question is, has anyone ever tried using 2" wheel adapters to push your wheels out with 35's and if so how much cutting did you have to do? Currently the only modification I had to make was removing the mud flaps, otherwise everything fits fine and no rubbing. I have been told by our local off road company that putting the 2" adapters on will change the turning radius and thus create rubbing. Anyone know any truth to this? Thanks for your help everyone.

There definitely is truth to what the shop is saying.A lot of it depends on the backspacing and offset of the wheel. 2" wheel adapters rubbed when I had a 6" spindle lift on my truck. 1 1/2 to 1 1/4 is what most go with to avoid having to do a serious amount of cutting in the wheel well.

Thanks for the info. I was a bit nervous about it from the git go and now my mind is settled. No go.

I would go with some wider wheels that fill the wheelwell. Either way though you run into hub and stud issues at some point then too. If you do decide to run them later just do yourself a favor and get some quality ones like Bora. At minimum get hubcentric ones or hub and wheel centric ones.
