As noted, its never been changed & its got about 104K miles. I called a local shop & they will change but said they use Max Life transmission fluid & its compatible with the Nissan matic J. I'm a little leery since its running great & the last thing I want to do is screw it up. Any thoughts?

I've also never cleaned or changed the screen under the pan, this shop wont do it. Should I get it done?

It will work, let them change your oil, as for the filter, no need to change filter.

My truck has 182,500 miles with original trans filter still in it.
