2004 Nissan Titan Codes HELP!

2682 Views 9 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Rgray695
Hello,
I just purchased this 2004 Titan a month ago and was driving then all of a sudden the service engine soon light came on. I took it to the auto parts store and had the codes read. All the codes that appeared were: P0037, P0057, P1614, B1073, B1023, B1019, C1108, C1187, and C1155. I have researched the P codes and the only issue I am having is finding the part for the B1073 the parts store told me this code is an airbag module but when I look online I can not find parts for this or any of the B codes. Any help would be greatly appreciated if anyone has ran into these issues and has any info on where to get the parts. My truck is a 2004 titan with 138K miles, the service engine soon light, abs, b-lsd, and airbag lights are on.

Check behind your muffler and see if the connections broke and exhaust heat is spewing out of it you might have fried your wires above it

What do the connections go to that I am looking for?

Well all the lights you said that are lit up are affected because that harness has all the wiring for the rear

he is talking about behind the muffler. If the tail pipe breaks (after the muffler) it is a known issue of the exhaust melting the harness right above that area

Thanks guys! Sorry it took a month to reply. Had to move across country for work. I haven’t been around my truck since I posted but I’ll definitely look at the harness tomorrow and give an update.

My 04 has the rotor issue that was it my 08.5 was flawless regret selling that long bed. Then had an 08 that was beat bought it used nothing but trouble traded it for a 2012 SL sadly had to replace the entire suspension up front and shocks in rear still doesn’t ride like it should but not bad enough I would get rid of it it has 107,000 on it now and Blackstone labs just analyzed the oil and said it’s better than perfect said I can go 7,000 miles before changing in future

Yeah I’m still chasing the issue. Gonna replace the front abs sensors and replace Oxygen sensors today. And hopefully that fixes the codes. I’m trying to sell it. We’ll see what happens lol
