Hey,
Some buddies and I are taking my 2004 Titan from KY to FL in a couple weeks. Yes I know it’s not the most gas efficient vehicle, but the space and comfort is worth it for us. My Titan has about 180K miles on it and hasn’t had many problems since buying it with only 40K on it. I’m wondering if it would be helpful to do any work or anything on it to ensure we get there and back safely.
Thank you,
Colby

I mean we could give you a laundry list with those miles (tranny flush, front and rear diffs, transfer case, etc), but most important item.would be the transmission cooler line at bottom of radiator. Replace hose and ditch the factory hose clamp and get a real screw type clamp!

Checking diff levels if not changing wouldn't hurt. Good luck!

Thanks Matt,
I will definitely look into that this week!

Make sure your battery is strong too. These trucks do funky things when the battery is on the way out.
