Ok I have a 2004 Nissan titan and my transmission won't shift out of third but if I manually shift it from 1st. To 2nd to 3rd to 4th and drive it works but 4th and drive starts slipping so I shift it back to third where I drive 60 mph at 3500 rpms can someone help me know if I have to replace the whole thing or maybe there is a simple fix that will save me from having To replace it. First I would probably take it somewhere and have it checked out. Have you checked the fluid and was it changed regularly? If there is a problem, continuing to drive it, is more than likely going to make it worse. It may be the valve body is gummed up and might be your best case scenario as far as cost, but I would take it to a reputable shop and have them diagnose.
