Hello all,

First time post. I love my titan and have owned about 1 year. I have had several glitches, but the last couple concern me. This AM i turned the key to start and the truck clicked as if low battery. So i removed the key. It then spent about 20 seconds flipping out. All the dials clicked and jumped around, the lighter plug turned off and on (GPS), the fan turned off and on, the hazards turned off and on, the truck turned over for a second (the key was out), then it did all the weird stuff again, then the truck turned over again but did not start (it only turned over for a second), then after a few more seconds of weirding out, it quit making noise. I then inserted key and started with no problem. Later today it did a similar sequence but did not try to start again. I started after a few seconds and it was fine. I would not be so concerned, but in a few months i will be in no-mans land where even a tow strap cannot get me out. Last year, in no-mans-land, the tranny decided not to engage. I put it in drive and just revved the engine. it would not go in drive. After turning off and then restarting, it worked fine. I have a remote starter, so maybe that is faulty, or is it the computer? Anyone else have this issue?

I'll second both suggestions above, and in that order. Dead batteries with the Titan happen suddenly and do bizarro things, in my experience.

Thanks for the help! The exhaust/harness area looks good. The truck had one of those knobs on the battery you can unscrew to disable the vehicle. I think that may have been causing a weak connection. I removed it so we'll see if that takes care of the issue. Thanks!
