Just bought the king cab Titan 06 with 193K miles. I need to change out the shocks front and rear. There seems to be a lot to consider doing this change. Much more than I anticipated. I’d like a close to OEM change or better. No lifts and I won’t be doing any craziness in the truck. Some boat tows likely to be the hardest thing on the truck.
With the collective infinite wisdom present here in the forum I thought I’d get some good suggestions.
Thank you all in advance.

Do the complete spring/shock in front and a good set of shocks in back. My 2005 kingcab Titan was sitting low in front and road like a one ton truck with no suspension at all!
With the new springs/shocks it back at normal height and rides like a Titan should ride!
Stay away from the cheap ebay stuff and you will be happy!

Based off of your needs, you don`t need 5100`s. you also don`t need to spend a million dollars on equipment you won`t benefit from.
but with that mileage I would be looking at all the suspension components, Upper control arms bushings as well as lower control arm bushing, which seem to seize to the bolts over that amount of time/mileage.

any auto store bought brand shock will perform as OEM (which I think is Tokico`s and not all that bad if you found some early take offs from others trucks)

Monroe, KYB, Gabriel, etc. as suggested from the other poster I would check your ride height in the front to determine if you have spring sag. which can be easily restored with Moog coils affordably.

if you wanted to step up a bit in shock performance and handling I would suggest Bilstein 4600 series for all 4 corners. I towed my boat with the 4600`s and they were just fine!

another item on your check list is the Emergency brake shoes and parts...

good luck...
