OK. Finally replacing my 100,000 mile Dodge Ram. As you can tell by my handle, I am a Titan fan. So quess which truck I want ;)

Anyway, I went to my local dealer and he has a 2007 LE with Power Bench seat. I wanted a bench because as a member of the "Big Nation", I like the knee room it provides, although the captain chairs are nice as well. I guess my big question is should I go for the 2007 LE or for the same approx. money (after rebate) go for the SE? Is there significant differences btwn the 07 and 08 that I am not seeing? I know the 07 doesn't have the bluetooth, which is a bummer, but the 07 is in a color I really like that apparently isn't available in 08...Deep Water.

Anyhow...any advice would be great. When you look at the styling, I am stunned how this isn't the best selling truck out there.

Well if you look at the brakes the 08 are larger overall. The 08 also have the information lcd screen on the dash , but the 08 have black door handles and such where I think the 07 still have chrome. With the 08 having a 3500 rebate I personally would lean towards the 08 due to the brakes and I have to say the interior of the 08 seems alot more refined than my 05 , as in fit and finish and I love the darker interior that the 08's have. Also I think having a year newer will make it hold its value a bit better. Good Luck

Of course I still need to actually look at them closer, the reason I was looking at the 07 was because of the rebate and the fact that it is the last 07 on the lot and I think I could get a better deal on it because of that. So with that rebate, I think I might be able to get the 07 LE cheaper than the 08 SE.

Get the '08. The upgrades to the dash interior parts and the seat fabrics make it worth it alone.

'07 and back are made of crappy seat materials and parts of the dash are painted which scratches easily.

I had an 04 for 3 years, which frm what I understand is almost exactly like the 07. I just bought an 08 and have had it a week. The 08 is a lot better all around than the 04 was. The interior is much nicer and seats are much more comfortable. The engine feels better and the drive is smoother. Plus you get a few upgrades. There is only a 1500 difference in the 2 and you will make that up in resale value as the 08 is a year less depreciation.

I got an LE with pretty much everything but 4x4, curtain airbags and dvd for 31,412. The sticker was almost 39k.

The 08 brakes are larger and probably more dependable. The 07 diffs are still failing but Nissan " says " they have beefed up the differential somewhere for 08. I tried to get Nissan to tell me what they fixed on the diff but they go dumb on you real fast. Try it yourself. Ask your dealer how they fixed the failing diff problem. They will probably say they have never heard of a problem. If you are buying a Titan, go 08.

This is great. On the surface, the 07 and 08 don't look like they are very different, but sounds like build quality is better on the 08. So, if I go 08, I probably won't do the LE, so if folks don't mind maybe asking a couple of other questions:

1) Is "splurging" for the SE over the XE worth it?

2) Besides the obvious, is the difference btwn. the Crew and King just a comfort level? Is the crew back seat that much more comfortable?

3) While I like the long bed, not sure with the crew cab it would fit in the garage. I am not a contractor or anything, so will I really miss the bed space?

1) Yes get the SE

2) Yes the back seat in the crew cab is more comfortable

3) If you dont have much to put in the bed the standard bed shouldbe fine
