2007 Titan SE w/Fosgate Radio Question

Hello,

Quick question, when I removed the connectors from the Fosgate 6 Cd Player radio (total of 4 or 5 I believe), what are all of those for? I'm currently installing a new aftermarket stereo (Alpine ILX-007 Carplay) and the harness adapter I was told to buy only has two connectors on it. Am I not to use the others? I have it running with sound but it seems like I don't have any real bass coming. The subwoofer doesn't seem to work at all. Any ideas?

The sub is powered by the factory deck or another amp under the dash. Once you unhook the factory deck you unhook the sub, unless I'm mistaken. If you want to run the sub you'll have to get an amp for it.

That makes sense, but now I wonder why Crutchfield wouldn't have let me know that. I bought all the adapters they told me to buy. Everything else works perfectly other than that sub.
What harness did you use
Metra 70-7551 harness and also used a Scosche SLC4 Speaker Level Converter
Why did you use the speaker level converter. Doesn't the Alpine have RCA out already?
Also make sure the crossovers in the Alpine are turned off.

I honestly cant tell you why I used the converter, Crutchfield said I needed it so I just went with it. I can try and hook up without it. I guess I wouldn't be using the speaker wire connections from the Alpine at all? Just hook up the RCA's straight from the harness to the back of the Alpine?

Thanks for your help.
Yea that should sound better. And remember to turn of the crossover in the alpine
