I have a 2008.5 Titan Pro4x with 142,000 miles on it. The truck has been great and needed nothing but
normal maintenance and regular wear n tear items replaced over the years.
A couple months ago it began not cranking when I turn the key, once in a while. HOWEVER, when I
turn the ignition back all the way to "OFF" and try again immediately, it fires right up like a champ. Only happens like 1 time in 20-30 attempts, not often.
Battery voltage is consistent with not much deviation on my Optima Yellow Top. Stays within 1/10 - 2/10ths of a volt.
My first reaction was that it is probably the starter.........any other thoughts on this since I don't know much about the Titan electrical and ignition. If it is the starter, does anyone have the part # and a how-to on replacing it?
Thanks for any input!
