First, let me say I am not very mechanically inclined, but I have read and read and read, I have a 2008 Nissan Titan 2WD that will crank but not start. For the past year it would very intermittently start to not start. I would sit there 30 seconds and try again and it would go. It gradually got worse with having to wait longer and in frequency of occurrence. I have done the following myself and with the guidance of a mechanic on a few other things. I have replaced the fuel pump, I did this because it would start for a second if I sprayed starter fluid into the intake. That did not fix it. I replaced the IPDM, and crank shaft position sensor, and I have a new battery, I tried starting it while being jumped, nothing still. The only thing I can find online that maybe it is the Anti Theft array not reading my key?? Also, the truck does not thro any codes. Talk about frustrating. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

In addition to not being mechanically inclined, its clear you are also deficient in the basics of literacy.

This forum is for the 2ND Gen Nissan Titan. Now, because yours is a 2008, that makes it a first Gen.

So that makes me wonder, sir, why the f*ck your posting about your vehicle in a forum dedicated to a totally separate type of truck?

Although you may start to think of this post as an attack, I implore you, consider how many of us decided to buy a new truck, and are trying to find a resource that pertains to just our model. People such as myself have an incredibly hard time getting information as it is, and on top of that, we have to worry about you spewing your garbage into the mix.

Please. Get this crap off of this forum and post it in the right spot.

^^ This, good to see the guy has been banned. I don't know if this affects the 08 Titans but I know there is a TSB and multiple posts on this site about the ECU relay being an issue regarding start up. If you haven't researched it, it may or may not help you but its something to consider. Sorry about your troubles bro but good luck!

Wow some of these guys are incredible a-holes. I can't imagine why more people don't join this forum with such a warm welcome. I too would start with the relay, and go from there. Once the ignorant comments are done there is some knowledgeable people that can and probably will help. I guess some of these guys have no life so the solution for them is to troll the new guys.

Good luck and welcome to the forum.
