Was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a double din faceplate(the one in Titans with the base radio). I'm replacing my factory stereo soon and I'd like to retain the brushed metal look from the factory. I haven't decided on a radio yet, leaning toward a Kenwood. Anyone know?

I dont think you can get it in brushed metal cause thats a rockford fosgate thing. You have a couple options, you can either get the oem double din faceplate for 85 bucks @ courtesy nissan or you can get the metra kit with the faceplate and install kit for 25 bucks shipped @ amazon.

Metra kit model # 99-7406

I'm in the same boat as you Joel. I'm looking to do the same thing in my 2008. From the research I have been doing, I am 95% sure that if you order your new stereo through Crutchfield it comes with the part you are looking for as well as all necessary wiring harnesses. I would give them a call to confirm before ordering. I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Having gone through this, in detail, last year with my 2008 I tell you this: Just stop hunting and spend the money on the OEM replacement from a Nissan dealer now. No kit will come anywhere close to it.

The Scoche, Metra, and Best faceplates are all decent enough, and the first two are cheap, however in the end they are cheap plastic, they look like cheap plastic, and none of them fit that great. You'll end up dropping around $100 on the actual, OEM replacement part from a dealer by the time you are done with shipping and whatnot, but it'll look a lot better and you'll be happy in the end.

They ship it with the Metra kit; the wiring harnesses, etc are needed and good, but the faceplate is crap.

I went to the dealer last week and since they can only order parts from my vin# we took a look at a new pro4 on the lot. It's the same finish but I'm still trying to figure out if there's any difference between it and the plate from mine(08). Any ideas?

I called Courtesy Nissan today to see if they could help but the only thing he was able to find was the one that is already in my truck. He searched by VIN. I gave him the VIN to a brand new pro4x and it didn't show up in the system. I'm getting very frustrated by this whole experience. After driving 30 miles to the closest dealer, I got the deer in the headlights look from the parts guy. Does anyone have a part# for a DD bezel for a 2008 pro4x??

I got the VIN number from a 2008 like mine with the plate I wanted. Called Courtesy Nissan and gave the guy the number and got a reply like "You'll have to contact Best Buy to get that part because we don't sell it." I told him that it was a factory part and then he told me "Well someone who's worked here a lot longer than me just told me that we don't sell faceplates like you're looking for." I got in touch with my local dealer and found someone who actually knew what I was talking about. He asked me to stop by tomorrow and point out to me which one it was from his photos so he can order it. So now I guess I will order my Nismo c.a.i. and a few other things from the local dealer since Courtesy can't seem to find their a$$es with both hands. If it's the correct one I will post a part number for all!
