For Sale: located in Colorado Springs. Asking $15,500obo
I'm looking to move to a smaller truck like a Frontier, so my truck is for sale. The only modifications done are a ProComp stage 2, 6" lift with coilovers and a Black Widow Venom 250 muffler. The tires have 10/32" tread on all 4, (Cooper Discovery AT3). Within the last 5000miles I have changed all driveline fluids/ power steering fluid/ replaced transmission mount with PRG solid mount, replaced tailgate latch strikers, replaced exhaust manifolds, and replaced both headlight assemblies and both taillight assemblies.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
PS: sorry about the dog hair on the back seat...

You have to understand the different values listed out there. There's a huge difference in private party sale and dealer sale prices. Generally, dealers will ask much higher - and use some pretty creative accounting on the bill of sale to report as high a "retail" price as possible. In a private sale scenario, none of the creative accounting takes place (high trade valuation, backend discounts, interest rate manipulations, etc.).

Ultimately, your truck or my truck is worth what someone is willing to pay on a given day. I did a lot of truck shopping last year when my son was approaching 16, and I can tell you there are a lot of overpriced junker out there, a few great deals, and then some mediocre deals on good trucks.

One thing to consider is that a lift and other such mods don't actually add value to the vehicle. In many cases, they detract, because the perception is either "this truck was abused off road" or "this is an area of non-OEM problems waiting to happen."

I'm sure the OP wants top dollar for his truck. We all do, don't we?

Thanks for being a "realist".
Shoot high, you can always go down. You can't go up in price during a deal.

Mark, I wish you good luck with the sale. I can say I think you'll have to come down, but ultimately what I think is worth what you just paid to hear it, maybe more. Seriously, GLWS!
