2008 overhead bin - plug near rear lights?

I pulled the rear overhead console off the other night and noticed that there is a molex connector taped to the ceiling (I forgot to get a pict). Could this be the "prewired for dvd" connector that some have reported as being available on the 2008 with RF packages?

I keep thinking about the Tech12Volt deal but unless I can connect it up so that it looks like factory (meaning the head unit controls work), I'm probably not going to get it.

Some other web sites have mentioned that it should be possible to make a connector for the head unit and that I might nead a PIE adapater to boost the audio.

I had my son's rear overhead console out just the other day. He has the DVD player with RF system and if the cable you were talking about has a big round head on it, his was plugged directly into the cable coming from his drop down screen.

Hope this helps
No, this one has a square/rectangle head. I wonder if it could be for rear HVAC controls if I had them. The plug next to where the rear monitor would go.

I really need to try and get a picture.
I am trying this weekend to get rid of some of his vibrations when his subs hit. I will have his apart and take some pics and post em up. There was a round one to the monitor and then there is one to the two map lights and then a square on to the rear audio controls. His doesnt have rear AC controls

Might be Saturday night before I post em....
According to the 2008 AV documentation, illustration WKIA1502E (pg 88) shows what looks like the connector I was referring to. If this is true, then there's a good chance my 08 is pre-wired for the DVD RES so the Myron & Davis system I ordered may be easier to install than I hoped for.
Here's an image of the plug. Any ideas???
