DEI bypass modules are crap. What you need is a Fortin CAN-SL2. No reason to waste a key either.
2008 SE remote starter question
Just got my truck and I need to add a remote starter. I just want to verify that the Valet 561T and 556U will work on the 2008 with the factory security system and keyfobs.

ok, so if i buy valet 561t and fortin can-sl2, it'll be a good set up for the money, i won't lose a key, and i can use factory key fob??

Found the Valet 561T and CAN SL-2 on Amazon. $67.53 and $79.95 respectively.

i just received my valet 561t and can sl2. i've been shopping around for install estimates and so far i've gotten two for 350$. that seems high to me for this install....
