I have had this truck since new with zero modifications on it. I have just passed 100k and the exhaust drone (which has always bothered me) has gotten to the point where it is unbearable on the highway. Around town is bad too, but nothing like low RPM's using around 50-65mph.

I have read a few posts on here about the Vibrant resonator, but they seem to mostly be on Titans with aftermarket exhausts.

Will the work fine with my OEM exhaust or will it not really address my issue?

Thanks

Drone with no exhaust mods? Are you sure it doesn't have a hole? To answer your question, yes, you definitely can install the Vibrant UQ on a stock system. They usually install in post muffler up above the axle area.

When I bought my 04 it had a hole in the muffler that I could stick my fist in. Ordered the longer (quieter) manga flow from burtman and couldn't be happier. I didn't want my truck to be overly loud but you can defiantly tell it's there.

OP, if you don't like drone, don't buy a short Magnaflow muffler as a replacement. Drone will be worse. A 22" Magnaflow won't be too bad but you may still want that Vibrant UQ resonator.

I had the 18" Magnaflow. Drone, drone, drone. Even with the resonated tip (not to be confused with the actual Vibrant UQ resonator). When I installed LT headers the noise was horrendous. I now have the 22" Magnaflow but it's still too loud for me.
