I gave the wife my 05 Titan (Pic below), and I got a 08 Titan CC/SB 4x4! Here is some info about the 08 Titan I know first hand.

The AFE CAI works on the 08 (I installed it today), most aftermaket wheels won't fit unless they are 20 inches or bigger, and the 08 4x4 Titans are taller in the front suspension, in comparison to the 04-07 Titans(They can fit 33 inch tall tires with no problems). I am putting 275/70R18 Michelin LTX A/T2 tires on in a week on my factory 18s. If anyone has any questions about anything let me know.

"They can fit 33 inch tall tires with no problems".....is that without a leveling kit? Im also looking into a '08 4x4....anything else i should look for, while i shop for one?
Yes with the stock suspension on the 08 Titan 4x4 you can fit up to a 33 inch tire. Your limiting factor on the width for proper clearance will vary with different combos (stock v.s aftermarket wheel) etc...
33" tires without a problem? They've been running essentially that since '04. The stock tires measure 32.6" on the 17" rims. So there's no big difference there. Not knocking it, just that we've had that size forever.

Congrats on the '08! Isn't the wife even a little upset that she doesn't get the new one?

Ha, naaaa she likes it alot. I know about the 32 and some change tall tires since 04.... my point was its about 1 1/2 inches taller, so it does open up more tires to choose from without doing a front level kit etc. I didn't want to get to techical lol. :futwice:
