2008 titan se crew

I am new at this, I just bought a 2008 Titan SE Crew. It has 800 miles on it, and am having problems already. I noticed on the driver side rear tire some black grease on the inside of the rim. It looks like its coming from the backing plate area. another problem, the passenger side front carpet is getting soaked when using the A/C. The front end seems to rattle over bumps also. Any one else with these problems?

that sux with having 800 mi on the truck, the grease on the rim might be the axle seal or something else, and i know there is a fix for the ac drain tube that you can make yourself.

I had the same problem with the AC drain on my 05 CC/SE. I took it to the dealer and they kept it a couple of days for the carpet to dry and fixed the drain. Don't know about the grease on the tire, probably an axle seal. Good luck, and don't get discouraged these are awsome trucks.

Wow - on a 2008!? I wonder if the Nissan engineers ever read these boards. And they wonder why their sales are lacking - Get it right Nissan!

20 miles on the odometer and warped rotors... They didnt even change them, they resurfaced the rotors.. go figure. The tech said nothing was wrong at first, then they expected me to drive with the tech to tell them what was wrong. Really dissappointed with the idea that a noob like me has to diagnose the problem which was very obvious. but its all good now, hope the service gets better.

Got the thud or knock in the front end, but that is it....Maybe the grease on the rear wheel is some residual from the plant(hopefully)..Anyway I would take it back to the dealer for any problems that may occur this early..

..I've seen brand new rotors off the shelf slightly warped. It's supposed to be SOP to give all new rotors a surface cut to true them up before install.

Never allow a dealer to cut rotors on a new truck! Demand they be replaced.

More than the vehicle defect, it is the SERVICE WRITER/TECH that need to polish up there communication skills so the customers dont want to smash there face in. Maybe the tech/worker was having a bad day, i dunno????

I beat the tar out of a service writer for mouthing off. The rest of the customers there applauded. It was a stress reliever...

It's new. Take it back to the dealer.

are you talking about me? If i wanted to troll i would pick something better(or worst) than warped brake drums to troll on titans about... what i said is true.
