Hi all,

New guy here. I have searched on here, but cannot seem to find what I need. I have a 2010 Nissan Titan LE. Both sides rear seals leaking. Took it to a local mechanic to take out, cut off and replace the seal/bearing etc..

Issue is they cannot get the shaft out to do the work. Used a 5 lb pull hammer but it wont budge. They stopped for fear of breaking it worse. The rear end is not making noise, just leaking.

Is there something..anything that can be done before I take it to the dealer for some bad news and lots of $$$..

Thanks in advance

Thanks mrbubl.

They were using a 5 lb slide. Got worried they were gonna break something. Dealer trip I go. quoted 750.00 over phone for both sides. Since they have done them before, hopefully they will be able to not break anything. Anything I should look out for at dealership with this? I understand the moisture issue, but does that mean new axle, or shafts etc?
