So, I have a 2010 Nissan Titan SE that refuses to start. Took it to my mechanic and after an hour of looking around, they assume it's the ECM. My question is, after doing loads of research on here, do you think it could be my ECU Relay going bad? I know that's something that has been common with Nissan's in the past. Would the ECU relay prevent my truck from starting? As of right now my truck turns over but doesn't start. It's not the battery. I'm just hoping it could be the ECU Relay not my ECM or my IPDM. Knowing my luck, everything is wrong. Anyways, thanks in advance for your help!

If you've done the research, you've seen to swap it with (I believe but double check) the fog light relay. If that fixes it, its the relay. If not, its something else.

I've been looking throughout this site and cannot find a diagram indicating where the fuel pump relay is located. I did find a diagram of the fuses/relays that matches my truck, but neither the fuel pump relay nor the fog light relay was identified. I had a no start condition with my 2010 Titan SE and was pleased when it started after I replaced the fuel pump fuse. The fuse looked OK, so I assumed it was a connection problem. The next day, truck would not start. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you checked the fuel pump fuse after it wouldn’t start to see if it blew? And was the original fuse replaced blown?
(..sorry confused as to whether you said you checked the fuse and it was “OK” before or after you started it for the first time again).

mine has started to act a little sluggish after it turns over only on cold starts..warm no problem. I’ve seen a lot of threads on the issue or no starts in general but never a definitive answer to a solution

Original fuse was not blown and the replacement was OK too. I removed the IPDR board so I could get at the ECM relay.

Here's an image of the relay after I removed it-

I had a bit of a problem removing the relay. Now I'm off to the dealer to get a new relay. Hope it solves the problem, and thanks for your help.

FWIW, the dealer does not have a replacement relay but has a replacement IPDM. So, I have replaced it and the truck started cold after several tries. That was yesterday - today, no start. Anyone have ideas or suggestions?

you have a connection issue somewhere near there.

jeep grand Cherokees have an odd similar issue. when the capacitors on the ecu motherboard go out, you have to leave the key in the run position for about 15 mins up to an hour for the jeep to start. that's how you identify the particular issue. it lets the capacitors build power, I guess. maybe you have a similar issue since it starts after several tries?

I've got the issue fixed, at least it seems so after a couple of days. I don't know if the IPDM was bad or not (before I destroyed part of it), but I had the battery checked and was told it had a bad cell. I replaced the battery, and everything seems to work right. Thanks again.
