I have a 2011 pro4x and I am trying to install a leveling kit. The kit is a 3 inch front and 1 inch block for the rear. Today, I tried installing the kit. After in bolting the front torsion bar and tie rod, I still cannot get the front control arms and spindle to drop enough to get the coil over in. The confusing part is I tried doing a coil spring compressor I got from auto zone and I could not get the coil to compress. My question is: is there a special spring compressor? I do not understand why I could not compress the spring. Any help would be great.

I must add my computer died so I am on my iPhone so search is very hard. Thanks.

Titans don't have torsion bars, and no need to disconnect the tie rods. Is your leveling kit one of those in coil spacers instead of the ones that bolt to the top of the strut/coil assembly? If it is a top of the coil type, the maximum for your model is 1.5", and no need for a coil compressor.
Yes, I meant tie rod and the phone changed to torsion(?) for some reason. Well, this explains it. The 3 inch is too tall then. That's what I feared. Thanks. I was curious how I saw people with up to 2.5 for front when it looks like the coil and shock would be compressed and lose overall travel. Looks like I need a new kit...

Research before you buy, my friend......
It said fits 2011 Titan pro4x. Obviously not! Oh well. I will get a 1.5 for the front. I am guessing I can still use the 1" block for the back? I'm aware it won't be level, just looking for a tiny bit more height without going all out as a complete suspension kit would be a waste. I don't see myself utilizing that much of an investment....
