I am looking to get a tuner for my truck, either superchips of bullydog. If i were to get one would a CAI be beneficial? I am looking to get either an AEM or Volant if i were to. I dont race, I dont pull anything....at the moment. Would both be a waste of green or do they work best together. Anything will help, thanks.

You need a CAI, tuner, and a muffler swap to get the best bang for the buck. If I had a 2011, I would put a S&B CAI on because most of the 08-11 Titans run pig rich at WOT, and the S&B should help lean it up a bit with its lower GM/S MAF readings.

Well i did the muffler swap and got me a flowmaster. Need the CAi and tuner. ive been reading alot about the hypertech programers. Anyone have any insight on those? or would the superchip or bullydog be better? I am specifically looking for better gas mileage and not so much power. power is a plus tho :teethmast

I too have done a muffler swap for an MBRP Cat back. I'm looking at the superchip- cold air combination, and I'm looking at a Superchip, which will give you around 38 horses and 50 ft/lbs, as well as different modes for towing, fuel effeciency, and hauling ***. With respect to the CAI, there's no questio I'm going with the Injen. The hp gain of 28 is unmatched, and it is also said to be the highest quality and also the quietest. Either way this combo should kick ***. Hope this helps

No handheld tuner is going to give you 38hp and 50trq. With a good intake (AEM, Injen, S&B.) magnaflow muffler swap, and Handheld tuner on 87 octane tune you get a total of 32hp and 42trq. The 2* timing advance also gives 8hp 8trq for a grand total of 40hp and 50trq. Maybe you meant all of the mods together like I just showed. All of these numbers are dyno proven by Shailey from Mighty Titans. 40hp and 50lbs is awesome for 800$ though !!!
