Just joined and a Titan owner now for 2 days.
Wanted a truck and was attracted to the look of this 2012.
Although somewhat concerned with fuel economy knew that was the way it is with trucks no matter which make you chose.
Tried Silverado, Sierra, Dodge Ram and Ford and just felt a better fit with the Nissan.
Got it with 4 wheel drive as we use it on boat ramps during boating season and living in Canada winter driving can be a challenge.

Titans get about the same mileage as all the other full size trucks. Don't read into all the media propaganda. That is what killed the Titan sales back in the early 2000's. Magazines said it and everybody believed it. I own a 2010 Titan crew cab 2wheel drive and average 14.6 mpg on 93 octane with a programmer, cold air intake and Magnaflow muffler. [email protected] 75 mph in the eighth mile.

I have a 15 sv cc 4x4 and I get about 16mpg on average over the 10k I have had it. I play plenty, but I learned from years with my 06 kc that mashing the pedal killed the mpg. Most of my driving is back roads and town driving, with the exception of a few trips. I have a bullydog gt, s&b cai, and run 87 at the pump. I also have a roof rack and run 33" duratracs. I think the mileage is there if you keep your pedal off the floor.

Well I have only driven mine 625 km. so far and mainly rural roads, to get to the city, with an average speed around 6o km. and reading 13.6 L/100 which is 20.8 mpg. Imperial gallons that is as never sure if folks are speaking US gallons. In US mpg it's 17.3.
I traded a 2011 Lincoln MKX for my Titan and would average with the 3.7 Lincoln about 10.8 L/100. With driving approximately 18,000 km. per year it means approx. $70 more per month for my fuel cost. I was willing to accept that to have the Titan and will eliminate some of my trips through Tim's.
I found this to calculate comparisons noting it's a US so you have to do some conversions.

Thanks to all on the forum!

Welcome to the club. I had a '12 SV KC 4x4 prior to my '15 SV CC 4x4 and I didn't really use this forum for my '12. I really wish I had. I have found out what works and what doesn't very quickly on here via other peoples experience. It save a lot of time and money. If/when you want to do any mods, think about what you are wanting your truck to do, come here and search for solutions/advice and you will have a solid setup in no time. I never buy anything anymore before coming on here and seeing if it works first. As for mileage you just have to accept that it will suck if you want a full size truck, sounds like you already did that. Enjoy your new "T"
