2013 LE Titan Performance Mod question???

I have a 2013 Nissan Titan and would like to know what the best route would be to add bolt on horsepower and throttle response? I was thinking about putting Doug Thorley headers on it with the stock exhaust and tuning it with a bully programmer or something similar? Does anyone know if there is a intake manifold or throttle body aftermarket that would bring in some substantial HP increase? Any thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

An intake, headers, test pipes, a cat back, and a tune will probably be the best bang for your buck. Forced injection is nice, but the transmission and rear end likely won’t be happy with that much power.

I figured that I got close to 72 rwhp after three trips to uprev and that was before cams.
on the first tune I had ***** CAI ,JBA catback with a 22" maggie ( that was collapsed at time of tuning) 07+ intake. On second I had gone to Borla XR-1 ,TB mod UQ resonator 170 thermostat ,,But yes on the first tune I was not exactly stock! If i figured it from stock numbers I would have added close to 50 hp's just with bolt ons and uprev. so with 20% drivetrain loss stock 305 at flywheel goes to 244 rwhp could I have added 72 HP with just bolt ons and tuning????

And I am sure that joe is right on with his 50 on hp on gains and it makes a difference as to 04-07 or 08 on up.

My only regret with Headers and uprev was that I didn't do it sooner.

I agree with Constable. Going FI on any vehicle is a major undertaking. I've been studying and planning for a supercharger on my Miata for 2 years. Yes, you really need to think it over that much! For modest boost that will keep the car semi-reliable, I'll need a new, stronger clutch, the supercharger itself, a new ECU, new full exhaust system and associated miscellaneous parts. Adding boost to a tiny 1.6 liter inline 4 will cost about $5-6K, and that's doing all the installation and tuning work myself. For a Titan that you want to keep on the road as a DD, just go with headers, exhaust, CIA and a tune, and call it done. If you're looking to turn your truck onto a track-only dragster, open your wallet and have fun!
