I'm looking for a used fiberglass cab height topper (not a tonneau) for my 2014 Crew Cab with the 5.5 ft bed. These seem to be as scarce as hen's teeth! Do all first generation Titan's have the same bed dimensions and profile? Are there any other makes that would fit my truck (Chevy/GMC, Ford, Dodge, etc)? I've found a couple that were on older Titans (2010...) but being a couple of hours away, didn't want to make a futile trip if they wouldn't fit. Within a couple of days, these were sold!

I feel you. I bough mine after a year of searching craigslist. The dimensions are the same, and you probably wont have success as far as domestic designs go. The titan bed has a taper to it and the camper shells i've seen fit over the bed rails, not n top of it...also, the early model shells may contact your third brake light. mine does going over big bumps but not too hard. I could scoot the shell back a tad, but meh. Also some older model shells have a rain gaurd that cups over the tailgate, your '14 has a different profile tailgate, and the rain gaurd will not fit. you can take the gaurd off altogether and get leer/are weatherstripping to put in a channel on the back door to seal from elements lieu of the rain gaurd thingy.

That's what I was afraid of! Thanks for the info. Just can't bring myself to drop $1600+ on a topper that won't be on my truck all of the time. I'm looking for something to use during camping season (for dry storage) and various trips out of town for shopping/football games, etc. Otherwise it will sit in the backyard so I can have use of my truck bed.

Lady luck smiled on me! Found a used Leer 100XL topper that matched my truck! Correct year, color, etc! Stoked about my find and newly enclosed truck bed! Now I gotta sell my soft folding tonneau....
