Sadly I traded in my 04 Titan tonight, I will miss it. Brought home a XD in its place. Very solid truck and the fit and finish is much better than my 04.

I was pretty set on the Titan. After owning my 04 since new and not really having very many problems I decided I would be sticking with Nissan. I drag around a 26' boat on occasion and the 04 did ok, but just ok.

I understand what Nissan is trying to do with the XD and I believe it will fit my needs.

The boxes look better on the Ram but been there done that with Dodge...no thanks.

That is indeed one thing I liked about it, then the other being the fact you can access them from the outside. But there are downsides; reduced bed width (bad for ATV guys?), a lot of reports of break-in's, and that's all that comes to mind so far.

I'm very impressed with this truck. I drive almost 2 hours to work and the mileage so far has been hovering around 19-20mpg.
Half of my commute is twisty mountain roads and the heavy Titan gobbles up the corners, much better than my 04 ever did.

I haven't hooked it up to the boat yet, but I suspect it will tow great.

I hope you are still liking your XD. Sold my '04 SE Crew Cab on Craigslist a week ago and looked around. Had Titan withdrawal symptoms and went to my local Nissan dealer (after checking out a couple alternatives). I think I got a really good deal on a new '16 XD Platinum Reserve. Seems rock solid and nicely finished (my wife even preferred it over several other brands). (If it doesn't work out, I'll be on the forum looking for fixes!) :wink:
