So, I am not an expert on the 2nd Gen Titan, but I have heard that the non-XD Titan uses basically the same chassis as the 1st Gen Titan.
If that is true, it may be possible that the OEM exhaust from a 2nd Gen Titan could fit on an older Titan. Does anyone know if this is possible? I doubt the manifolds would fit, but the cat back would be nice to have if it is truly quieter than the 1st Gen Titan exhaust.
My 2007 is finally developing an exhaust leak, and TBH I have never liked the sound of the stock exhaust, too loud for my taste I would like my truck quieter. Also, have been getting 8mpg recently too, so I'd like to come up with a solution, and if the newer OEM exhaust fits and is quieter I'd be very interested going that route.
Oh, and BTW, is the exhaust on the 2nd Gen Titan stainless this time? The OEM Titan exhaust rusts out prematurely.
