Ive been on this forum for sometime and have found it very beneficial compared to others. Actually to he honest this is the best place for straight upfront good quality info. Here is my question what glitches do we know of for the 2017's gas jobs non XD are there. I here some complaints about the XD shifting etc but not to much for the standard Titan. Is this transmission a Nissan or out sourced model. I have a 2007 and still love it just looking for new. If I could find a 2015 I would pick that up in a heartbeat.

Seems the transmission shifting patterns is topic #1. As for reliability I'm not seeing any failures yet.

I was surprised to see some of the SV models on the lot without the hitch and spray in box liner. Never seen a titan without a factor hitch. How do you know if it has the big tow gears.

It seems the Titan is the smallest of full size trucks? I seen one parked next to a Tundra and it seemed smaller in width, height and overall length. I haven't done a dimension check against the others.

It'll have a sticker on the rear differential telling the gear ratio.

The transmission is a 7 speed Jatco (Nissan subsidiary). The Jatco 7 speed has been paired with the 5.6 in the Nissan Patrol and various Infiniti vehicles including the QX80 for years.

The rear end thing saved me a lot of head ache searching, so knowing there is only 1 is great. I heard that transmission is good and Im sure with some updates the shifting will be fixed. As for reliability I would like to think were stronger than ever.

I too was about to pull the trigger on a brand new 2015 Pro 4x that I could have got for an awesome deal. When I started researching it more however it just didn't make sense. 2017 has...
- Increased MPG
- 7 speed transmission
- VVEL
- Standard 200 amp alternator, 110v interior and bed mounted power
- NVH improvements including...sound deadening side glass, electronically controlled liquid filled engine mount, etc...
- Improved breaking (larger discs and boosting)
- 5 year/100,000 mile warranty
- Numerous interior upgrades.

What I can't find much information on is the rear axle itself.

if it only has 2.94 gears that seems kinda sad... i cant see this for the tow package someone with a pro4x check their rear diff and report the gears.

Yup so far it's been great. Bought it on 12/28 and have 6800 miles on it so far. Gas mileage sucks but it's a truck.

2013 maxima with 167k miles and before that a 2010 Ram with 184k miles.

I hope to drive this one 200k miles and hand it to my now 11 year old. I drive roughly 50k miles a year.

I was looking at a 2015 pro 4X out of town at a dodge dealership. Financial person had to sell and buy a dodge go figure but anyways he said 3 out of come back for something....he's a dodge salesman

Loved my Ram. Had a all black sport. To date my favorite vehicle. This one is beating it on first impressions. I'm loving the all black pro4x. Hope that continues for miles and miles
