I see that Nissan has finally announced that they'll be making the KC but they don't show anything about it on their website. Does anyone know the actual availability date? I've been waiting for it to be released since it's about time to trade-in my 2007 KC.

It was nearly 3 months after the press announcement of the single cab before you could build on the site. It appears that trucks are shipped a few days before the website configurator is up and running. YMMV.

I believe Nissan had announced earlier that the King Cab configuration to come out as a 2018 model so with that, I would guess by Sept 2017 the dealerships should be receiving them

(UPDATE) I got a call from the local Nissan dealer today (Mastria). He told me he would be getting (1?) 2017 King Cab in a couple weeks or less - a red Pro 4x. He said other Nissan dealers should be getting King Cabs too. I noticed you still can't build one on nissanusa.

You can now build/price a King Cab at the NissanUSA site.

Unless its alot cheaper than a crew cab, why bother?

----------------

Just checked, its $2680 cheaper in a base model. But will the rebates be the same on a king cab versus a crew cab?

Resale value definately better on a crew cab.

On another note, rebates this month on the Titan aren't too good (especially with the holiday coming up).

Don't think nearly $11,000 off will ever happen again. Glad I bought when I did.

They have full back seats, although not as much leg room as the CC. They're fine for kids although I have driven several hours with my wife and sister-in-law in the back seat and they didn't complain (too much!). The big difference and the reason I prefer the KC is the bed length...78.7" for the KC vs. 67.0" for the CC.

And sorry...I don't know what you mean by "more functional". The mechanical specs are identical to the CC. I consider the longer bed to be a huge "functional" benefit.

My bad, I wasn't thinking about the extra bed length in the KC vs the CC....

"Functional" doesn't necessarily mean "mechanical"...
