Hey I bought a 2017 Nissan Titan Platinum Reserve 1/2 ton crew cab (gas). And I have run into a few problems, first none of my dome lights worked. Found out dealership forgot to push in a fuse when doing PDI. Then my remote engine start stopped working after two days of having it. Took it to the dealership and eventually it got fixed but with multiple visits to the dealership and multiple parts. But I admit it's still giving me problems. Also I noticed the front bumper was installed crooked. Waiting for dealership to tell me if there going to fix it. I found two bubbles in the paint. One in the tailgate by the Nissan emblem has a bubble or paint defect. Then I found one above the passenger side doors. Also found missing paint in the two tone, so you can see the red coming through the silver in the driver's side box rear. Also I almost lost my dealership installed tonneau cover on the hwy (they never installed the metal brackets that go into the rail system). The truck is sitting in my shop with 1000km, and ive had it since the beginning of May 2017. Did I just get a lemon or is this common for everybody? It has very little mileage because I had no luck with it right out of the gate. First time I take it to work and a guy on a riding lawn mower puts a rock through the rear passenger window. So I went to the dealership and they don't have there own body shop, so they sent me to a body shop they send all there customers to. Well I lost my truck for over three months due to back order parts and them screwing the vehicle up over and over again. And the dealership refuses to take any responsibility for it, the excuse is they recommended I take it there. But if I took it somewhere else they would be able to help me because they have a business relationship with this shop not an other one. So I took it where they wanted and now they was there hands of me. Now I'm battling it out with the body shop. Nissan Canada says not there problem, dealership says not there problem. So I'm stuck with this thing trying to get damages repaired on it that the body shop did to my brand new truck. And I mean a ton of stuff, they damaged my back seat (leaving parts and tools on it) they ran the truck into something and wrecked the mud flap. They damaged the rear bumper actually I'm going to stop there or else this post will get out of hand. Just looking for advice, or suggestions from my fellow Titan owners. This experience is leaving a nasty taste in my mouth. Thanks for reading my post.

when I had a place do bad work on my new truck I called my insurance company and told them about it. I ended up taking it to a new place and having it fixed. They had to replace the inside of my door twice which had nothing to do with the deer hitting the truck. Finding a reputable shop to work on a new vehicle is a trying task in my area as may be in yours, people don?t take pride in their work anymore. Places just want to turn around as many vehicles as they can through the shop for as high of margin as possible, mostly off insurance claims. Do your homework find a shop with a good reputation and call your insurance and tell them you want your truck taken there and to be fixed. As for the factory issues, I would take them up with Nissan consumer affairs, to which I?ve heard mixed reviews. It seems you have a solid lemon law case going if you contact a lawyer you may just get that, but the truck is going to probably have to be fixed first.
