2017 titan crew pro4x,
Front center parking sensors active when driving with nothing in front. They even turn on when at a full stop. Notice it more with a more aggressive brake.
Anyone else having this issue?
1st dealership could not replicate it.
But finally got a video of hit happening.

Are they clean? Is there any weather going on such as heavy rain? The front sensors if like GMs are always active, or at least GMs are at lower speeds.

I had to always turn them off when I had the Tundra, they would beep constantly especially if going drive-thru places like in 'n out, mcd, carls, etc ..

If they're malfunctioning consistently dealer should replace at no charge.

This past winter i had to turn mine off just about every morning. Frost would build up on the center sensor from the time i would pull outta the garage to warm her up and when i got to the stop sign leaving my neighborhood. It's North Dakota, extreme negative temperatures & wind are the norm for winters here.

When it's going off have you stopped and checked if anything is obstructing the sensor? Heavy buildup of dust or dirt maybe?

Clean yes,
I have adjusted the sensitivity and they trigger at all 3 levels.
Weather conditions are clear and ideal. I live in south central az.
Pinnicle nissan couldn't find any issues with them but didn't really spend any time in the truck, less than 14 miles.
Luckly I was able to capture it on video happening several times in a row showing its just the center 2 activating with nothing closer than 20 ft near me.

Got an appt with chandler az nissan friday. Hopefully they can fix or find a resolution now I have proof a d not just a story.

It seems to happen more with a har brake than a gradual. ( been trying to make them active for the video) and no I don't mean slamming on the brakes. Just not the normal easy coasting style braking.

Update,
Had a nissan usa rep come out and confirm the front two sensors were malfunctioning. They had th dealership replace the two front center sensors as well as the whole front sensor wire harness.
Worked fine for about 2 hours and it's back at it again.
Center front sensor trigger for a split second, sounds the buzzer displayed center as red and disappears.
Luckly we have it on video again after the fix.
Is anyone else having issues or have a better idea of what is going on?
No damage, not dirty and alignment is good.

Update,
Vehicle was replaced with lemon law for the sensors.
Replacement truck is now doing same issue.
Is anyone else having these problems.

I have a hard time believing that I have the only 2 trucks that have this issue, and back to back too!

Wow that is amazingly bad luck, I guess is the way to put it  Mine seem to act exactly as they should. I only have about 350 miles on mine so far, but when I pull into my tight, single-car spot at home, they go off just as I'd expect, which is briefly as my front end comes close to the right side wall as I make the turn into the spot. And they sound again as I pull up tight against the front wall, again just as I'd expect. And when pulling into parking spots, same, they go off just as I'd expect them to.

Dropped off the 2nd titan to the dealership on Friday for inspection with regional rep.
Picked it up today.
Service advisor stated that they wrapped em insulator tape around the wiring harness and bezel mounts. And made it appear that this is a known issue with this model.
We will see what happened. They did not do this "fix with the other truck just replaced sensors, wire harnesses and computers. Hope that it works.

This happens to me constantly. The dealer first told me nothing was wrong. Then they replicated it. Then they said they fixed it but what they did was just reduce the sensivity and then they turned the sensors off. So ticked at them now. This is the 4th time to the dealership in 2 months for various things and its about to be a 5th.

Some folks on the xd forum were having the same issue. Seems the wiring harness for the sensors is easily damaged by road debris.. The dealer added a shield to protect the harness.. Not sure if this was per a tsb or proactive dealer....

I have not had these issues on my xd or reg Titan so far....

So the truck went back in April for the same thing, they found water in the front sensors and the wire harness (the shielding tape we preventing water from draining) they installed new sensors, and full new harness. And less than 2000 miles,...... ITS BACK.... new case number from consumer affairs, this will be the 3rd attempt to fix this on my 2nd 17 p4x non XD (same issue on the 1st).
As well as a sagging passenger rear end over an inch difference in height from driver side to passenger, the tranny tab, air conditioner acting funky. Only 8 months old 5,000 miles.... ready to have them buy it back since the issue started with less than 500 miles and documented as such. Went from loving this truck to loathing it.

Uh Oh....I have not had quite as many issues. The front parking sensors are the worst! So far the software for the transmission had to be flashed, tailgate locking mechinism had to be fixed, wheel bearing seal had to be replaced twice on the same wheel, and now the parking sensors. The problem is them just coming on at random when driving pr standing still. This would be the 3rd time for that one!

I’d rather have a low speed front camera. In my car the camera is active at parking lot speeds only.

I hate the front sensors. Pulling into a parking spot, turning close enough to another vehicle so as I am the middle of the spot, and those things go off scaring me!

It would be nice if nissan gave you the option to turn that auto feature off, but I would leave it on because I love it. I'm used to driving small cars, so when parking this tank I'm still not 100% on where my vehicle placement is. If I don't get close enough for the around view to automatically engage, I'll usually hit the camera button myself.
