Is there anyone here that has a 2017 Titan SL non XD that has issues with their headlights? As you can see the lighting is not even and the right side is higher then the left side. I just had my other set replaced under warranty because there was film and finger prints on the projection bulbs. Note you only see the film and finger marks when the lights are on. The replacement drivers side is clear but the passenger has a light film on it. Any other 2017 owners with the LED projection lights out there experiencing this? The dealer is not giving me solid answers to this yet but it seems they are not adjusted properly. I have looked all over the headlight assy for an adjustment and I cant find one, is there even one to line up the projection bulbs? I know of the adjuster in the cab to raise or lower the Projections, that part is working fine its just a matter of lining them up horizontally.

Thank you,

Terry

Hi, but do you own a vehicle with the same headlight assy? I hear what your saying but I also have a 2017 Rogue and the lights are spot on level right across and that came factory.
It sounds like the Rogue is wrong. You have posted that picture a few times, but I am unclear as to what you think it should look like. The pattern you show is normal. Traditionally the right side is higher to show better coverage of road signs, etc. In Euro left hand drive countries the right side goes up much higher and in countries with right hand drive vehicles, the pattern is reversed. It sounds like you want the left and right lights to shine at the same level. I'm quite surprised that the right light is only that much higher than the left. Based on my last few vehicles I would have expected it to be much higher. I don't have a Titan yet so can't compare, but I've never had a vehicle where the right and left beam were at the same height.

Here's the standard light patterns for DOT and ECE.

Thanks for that info. I have checked with other Rogue owners and they have a straight across beam also so I would say that it is correct and the way Nissan wanted them to be set. I can tell you that its nice to drive the Rogue with even light distribution and not once have I been flashed by oncoming vehicles. I would expect the same results with the Titan as it is the same headlight technology, and yes I want an even and level light output. Even my dealer states it should be a straight across line with even light distribution but you think they can solve why it is not on mine, they are stumped as well. In talks with other Titan owners to see other comparisons.
