Anyone know much about the ventilated & heated seats in the 2017 Titan (same as the '16 & '17 XD)?

My driver's seat heater is definitely not right. Will eventually take it in to the stealership, but if there's something simple that I can look out for, I'd rather try first.

The seat back works OK (not brilliantly) on high, but the seat cushion is not warming at all. Last night, briefly, it came on and scalded me (heaven!) for the first time since I've owned the truck, but cut out almost as quickly.

The owners' manual says something about a dealer-serviced air filter in the system, but I suspect that if such exists it is only for the cooling side.

Any idea where the wiring is, what colour or shape of plug to look for, or where the relay might be located?

I have yet to try the other 3 heated seats, but am guessing they are all independent and probably work fine.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Did you ever get this issue resolved? I have the same issue with my 2017 Titan Pro4x drivers seat and have taken it to the dealership several times in regards to this issue. The dealership just tells me it is working as designed. I keep telling them it is not working. I have heard that one person had the cushion in the seat replaced and that fixed the problem for them. The dealership I deal with won't do anything unless they deem it broken, which it is and they refuse to acknowledge. I have even contacted Nissan Canada and all they did was call the dealer I dealt with and agreed with them. A waste of time calling Nissan. I am very disappointed\frustrated with Nissan at this time.

Having a similar issue with my 2018 Platinum. takes along time to heat up the seat. I assume that they are not a heating pad type element but rather a fan forced air heater. The control knobs for the front seem to imply that both the cooled seat and heated seat are done via a fan forced air supply, vs the rear seats which may be a traditional heating pad element.

Ill try my heater again in the fall and see how it does, otherwise It will be back to the dealer.
