Does anyone know if tuning the 2019 titans 5.6 with the uprev or hp will help with the transmission / rpm fluttering? Maybe being able to adjust shift points?

I just purchased this truck about 2 weeks ago and can not stand the way it shifts. 2nd to 4th gear rpms bounce all over the place and feels like the truck surges some. Have taken it to the dealer and they said there are no lights, no TSBs on my VIN and don’t find anything wrong it.

Just purchased with 50k miles on it and hate to do it cause I love the truck but already thinking bout getting rid of it. Read somewhere of a similar issue on an armada and replacing the fuel pump corrected the rpm fluttering etc. any help is appreciated.

Ha ha ha. If you check all three posts, they basically say the same thing

Using crap like that usually messes up the truck, while the vendor tiptoes away. I'd rethink using junk like that. Use UpRev or nothing.

Pcmflash works perfect. I have flashed my armada over 20 times same ecu, never had an issue as pcmflash does checksum correction before writing ecu. Pcmflash has both types of ecu reading... CAN and Kline. Two different plugins. Their software works with security dongle. Buy original open port 2.0 and pcmflash and your set for reading and writting ecu thru obd and its one of best software for Asian cars.

You know what a dongle is? Can you be sure of what parameters you are changing? Do you know if you have CAN or CANT? This is not for the average person. If you buy into it, please be sure to come on the forum and tell us what a piece of junk Nissan is after you royally screw yours up.

Just doing identification on pcmflash will show you if its can or kline its simple no need to be a developer to figure it out..... The software its only for reading and writing not to do the tune. You can have any tuner mod your file.... Shitty tuners are the ones the mess up car not the software.

I know if I bought it, the truck would never start again..

I have already been through trying to do this on my bmw with megasquirt ms3, when it first came out. Put on a turbo and did all that, built the megasquirt and the simulator where ms3 tested perfectly, and than plugged into the car and nothing. Nothing for two months so I took it all off and put the stock ECU and wiring back in with the stock exhaust and the car started right up.

So, I learned to not ever try that on my own. I didn't grow up with computers and don't know anything about modding ecus, even after months and months of reading and talking to people about megasquirt. Stock is good enough for me

May be totally unrelated but recently in my 2017, something happened where I felt I went from driving my V8 to a UHaul truck where the engine mysteriously revved to 2-4k with little response.

Dealer replaced the Fan Coupling Assembly and I have my V8 back. Part 21082-5x23a

On a side note, the Drivers Side AC was blowing mildly cold where passenger was cold. They replaced 27732-EZ03B Actuator Assy-Air Mix

Record it if possible and show the maintenance manager. Also, if possible test drive another Titan 2017-2019 and see if the issue feels similar. I have a 2020 and captured any issues on video, the dealer had little to rebuttal. Don't feel bad either, my 2020 has a complete new rear end and transfer case due to issues early on.

I video also otherwise they can never duplicate issues. The video gets stuff handled right away though
