I've searched the interwebs and this forum for info on my question to no avail so here goes. The gear indicator PRND on the dash continually flashes the selected gear. Is that normal? So whether in PRND, the selected gear is circled and it flashes like a computer cursor, just a steady blinking. I asked the dealer, even called Nissan support, they just say it's normal. I've even looked at online videos and those do not show the indicator flashing, it's just steady, as i would expect. I keep worrying about the flashing since it makes me think there's a problem, but there are no other warning lights or indicators illuminated. Thoughts?

Well 'issue' was resolved although i do not know the solution unfortunately. I had a leak letting rain into the driver's side floorboard. Dealer had it a week trying to find the leak which ended up being a frame "weld" with not enough body seaming which allowed water to drain into the cab. Anyway, that's a different issue altogether, however, when i got it back the flashing gear select indicator was now solid. No one knows.

I am having this same issue. Has anyone figured out the cause?

Didn't see the gear indicator flashing, but I did notice something odd when I was vacuuming yesterday. The carpet on the driver's side floorboard was a little puffed up. I may have to get that addressed with the dealership to make sure that it's not the same issue that you reported.

I noticed the same carpet bump on the driver's side of my 2020 P4X. Let me know what you find out from the dealer. Thx.

They're going to look at it today. I told them about the reports that there were some missing welds allowing outside elements in the cabin. Will be interesting to see how this dealership addresses my concerns with such a new vehicle.

Definitely have an issue with not using a car-vac 😜

My salesman claims that he went and looked at several of his other Titans and the carpeting is the same.

Ha! I had my weathertech mats in on the first day but apparently they had some clingers from my 2018. Definitely gotta freshen that up :)

As long as my carpet doesn't look like it's lifting or out of the ordinary. I haven't paid attention before but I get paranoid about these things. This is a pretty significant revision, after all - but Nissan's mid-cycle refreshes are usually really good at buttoning up the quality and filling gaps.

I'm hopeful. I've been getting some grief from some people about Nissan looking like it may go into bankruptcy and why I chose the Nissan over the other players. I'd say that many car manufacturers are having some issues with their finances, as is the same with many industries. My main pick with Nissan is that it was a refresh, and I didn't like Dodge's reliability. Looked at a local Chevy dealership but they didn't want to deal. I see F150s all over the place, and as far as Toyotas, their styling is really long in the tooth. Here's to hoping I made the right choice.

Has anyone figured out how to make it stop flashing? Very annoying.

They fixed my gear indicator. It’s an auto park feature. If it’s on and you open the door or turn the truck off it goes into P automatically. If the auto park feature is turned off the gear indicator flashes.
now my truck has the leak! First hard rain and my drivers side floor is like an inch of water.

I’m a tech at a Nissan dealer and just had a tiran come in with the same issue, what I believe is the issue is that from the factory the vehicle comes with the auto park feature enabled but if it does not have the feature you have to turn it off using the consolt(dealership computer) to turn it off so that the system will see no fault and stop flashing that gear indicator
