Okay guys, I need your help. I purchased the 2021 Titan PRO4X at the end of last year. I only have about 10k miles and am hearing a thunk and feel a jerk in the truck when I get out of the gas and back in it. I have read so many threads and am hearing it could be transmission mounts, leaf springs or the utility track system. I do not think it is the latter though. I just had tire and oil service and had them test drive it and recreate what I hear. They heard it as well and they mentioned the driveshaft and pinions, but weren'tpositive of the cause and fix. I needed my truck back but will take it back in next week. On that note, I have to say, what happened to the 2007 transmission? My 2007 4x2 ran better than this thing when I traded it in with 200k miles. What is Nissan doing? I have owned 2 Xterras and 4 Titans and have never doubted the Nissan brand until now. I know a lot of threads are for older trucks and more miles. Has anyone solved this and how is this not a recall? How do dealerships not have the answers right away. Sorry for the rant, just need to get that out...so missing my old truck!!

There is no remedy for your problem. There is a thread on here somewhere that is multiple pages long of a bunch of us trying different things to fix it. Its even worse if you have a lifted truck. People think its the converter, some think its crooked leaf springs, some think its axle wrap, some think its axle wrap causing the driveshaft to move in and out of the trans etc etc.

I personally think its axle wrap and driveshaft movement. I installed a RAS on my truck to help with the axle wrap and 80% of the thunk and noise has gone away. I still get it occasionally when it shifts from 1st to 2nd but other than that its gone.

As far as the trans goes......yeah it sucks. Multiple threads on here with guys having all kinds of issues. There was a software update for the 20 model that supposedly helped a lot. For some reason though they havent put out a fix for the 21 model.

Thanks for the info. I will continue following and hoping for a fix some day. I will also keep everyone updated on what they say at the dealership. Going to ask that they keep it a couple days and really figure it out. Hopefully I can get mine fixed and get more info. that can help everyone else as well. I know I have a lead foot, but there is no excuse for my brand new truck to sound like this! #KEEPUPWITHTHETIMESNISSAN
