I have a few questions about this tire size.
What would it take to fit 295/70r18 on a 2009 titan 4x4 CC?
What would the difference be in MPG loss be compared to 305/65r18 (33.6/12)?
I am torn between these two tires and cant make a decision so any input would be appreciated.

To make 295/70R18 to fit on my truck I have a 1.5 inch leveling kit and bilsteins on middle setting and some minor trimming. My wheels are 0 offset though. If I could go back I would get a different size.

I have a 2007 4x4 CC with 295/70/18's and all I had to do was install the 1 1/2" level kit. I have no rubbing at all in forward or reverse. No clue about the mileage because it is a weekend truck.

In the same boat as RDN, '11 pro-4x with the same lift and wheel offset on Trail Grapplers. I had to cut the pinch weld about an inch and a half but it was barely rubbing. I lost maybe 1-1.5 mpg over stock 275/70/18 Toyo AT2's, braking is a little worse too with the added weight from the tires and the fuel wheels. I love the look with my fender flares and prefer a more "stuffed" wheel well. Only thing I would go back to a smaller size for would be to recover some of the already poor gas mileage.

they look narrow for how tall they are. i ran that size and then went to a 325/60R18 and never looked back.

For a 34 inch tire I think it will work. Also, it may help a tad with MPG.
