Hey guys. First post here. Just got my Pro 4x in May. It's my first truck, and so far my only regret is I didn't buy one sooner.
Since I bought it I have been trying to figure out what I want to do for wheels and tires. Couldn't find much info on what I ended up doing, so I wanted to share the details and photos so that it may help others.
Here's what was installed yesterday:
- RC 2" level w/ 1" rear block
- Nitto Ridge Grappler 295/70r18
- Fuel Pump 18x9 +20 offset
I have no rubbing or other issues, even with articulation. Those Ridge Grapplers are 34.3" tall and 11.77" wide. I did have to lose the mud flaps. The guys who did the install are first class and did a really good job. If anyone is in the Phoenix area let me know and I'll send their info.
In summary, I really like the way it turned out, but I wish the offset were just a bit more aggressive. They don't think a +1 will fit without creating issues up front, but we ordered an 18x9 +1 today. They're going to do a test fit and see if it works and if I like the way it looks.
Rides great and is the perfect amount of lift for me. I checked out a Titan XD with a 6" RC lift, and it was way over the top for my taste. This is more subtle but still big. My 8 year old tonight went to get in and said, "Dad this is really hard to get in now!"
Any thoughts on the offset? I'll keep you posted on what I learn from the test fit.
Ok so I can't post images until my post count is higher…
